Interesting :

Smaller then Hill Myna, with smaller pinkish bill which dark basally. Small, pale yellow wing patches in flight. Male : glossy black plumage with yellow crown, sides of head and throat Female like male, but yellow on head restricted to crown and to diamond-shaped patch on throat. Sides of head black. Juvenlie : head black, with yellowish white lores and throat patch; breast with faint whitish streaks.

Habitat :

evergreen and mixed deciduous forests from plains to 800 m. Uncommon resident. Forest, Artificial/Terrestrial

Behavior :

a higher-pitched, more metallic whistle then Hill Myna and a bell-like note.
